VETIVER ( AKAR WANGI ) FABRIC  [ PLACEMATS ]  Shown below are placemats made from the fiber of the fragrant grass root locally referred to  as Akar Wangi or internationally known Vetiver grass. This organic  material is woven  into the placemats with other fibers including hyacinth , sea grass, bamboo strips and cotton. The root fragrance is difficult to describe but has a very fresh almost ozone feel. Those who come to Bali and smell these products are never offended by this fragrance.
